Meet Kierin

About Kierin

Kierin is a Personal Trainer with over 30 years experience of playing sport, competing in sporting events and training others to realise their potential. Much of his youth was spent playing football, rugby, basketball and cricket before a desire for outdoor pursuits took over. Rock climbing, caving, mountaineering and most of all mountain biking became the new passion. The gym has featured heavily throughout his life too. After University Kierin joined the police and was a staff personal safety instructor, teaching other officers how to use their equipment and engage in hand to hand combat. The instructor bug did go away when he left and Kierin trained to become a group instructor and personal trainer in 2018. When Kierin isn’t in the gym you’ll find him in the mountains, on his downhill bike in the summer and skis in the winter.

Bootcamp Classes

Whether you’re a marathon runner, a black belt in Karate or haven’t exercised in a decade or more, The KRN Fitness bootcamp is a great way to lose body fat and increase muscle mass, bone density and cardiovascular fitness. During the summer months we are outdoors in Ruislip or Pinner. When the weather turns, we train indoors in a hired hall in Ruislip or Pinner until the warm weather and bright mornings return. Sessions are hugely varied and adaptable to all fitness levels, the age range of participants is typically 25 to 65 years old and there’s a real community spirit with the team. Classes involve use of kettlebells, battle ropes, TRX, resistance bands, dumbbells and much more. A trial session is available for free for anyone who is interested. Classes are then charged at £70 per calendar month for 3 sessions per week which is just over £5 per session.

Personal Training

In 2023 the studio gym was finished, providing Kierin with a perfect space to train clients on a 1 to 1 basis. The air-conditioned space is perfect for individual training with a fantastic range of equipment. With barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and twin cable stacks a program can be designed and implemented to suit your needs.The dreaded assault bike, battle rope, wall balls and other conditioning kit ensure that when we want to get the heart pumping, there’s a variety of ways to get there. Personal training sessions are charged at £50 per hour with a discount available for multiple sessions per week. Have a look here to know about the location of our personal training centre.
